How is your art generated?
- At Smooja we use algorithms to create these individual and unique designs. Only the very best designs are chosen for composition, colour balance and interest. We have chosen designs for all tastes of generative art, from the very bright and busy to the more minimalist.
What will the quality be like?
- The quality of the artwork is very high, we use the highest resolution possible to attain a fantastic print quality. The edges of the colours are very crisp, as are the colours in each design. We also have chosen the best local printshop in wellington, who produce very high quality work in the region and they use high quality papers. You won't be disappointed.
- Due to limitations on file size allowed on Shopify, the print doesn't look as crisp and clear on the site. Rest assured that you will be receiving a very high quality print.
How are the orders shipped?
- We use NZ Post for our prints and are tracked. The cost of shipping and packaging is $18 for NZ, $20 for Australia and $32 for all other countries. Each order can be tracked by the customer if you provide an email address.
- We use a NZ manufacturer for our cushions and these are dispatched directly from their premises by courier. The cost of shipping and packaging for cushions is a flat rate to NZ addresses of $19.00, Australia $45 and $60 for all other countries. Please note that the currency shown is NZDs.
Where do you ship to?
- We ship globally. Please be aware that shipping times may vary due to delays in shipping.
How long will my order take?
- As we use a local and excellent printshop, we are priority customers but there will be inevitably, on occasion, unforeseen circumstances, adding on courier time and their possible delays, we estimate your order to arrive between 5-14 working days. If there is a delay in either area, we will advise customers by email. As the world is still suffering delays due to the pandemic, sometimes it will impact on deliveries as it can with all businesses.
What is your return policy?
- If for some reason the order arrives damaged, we will either replace for free or refund the customer of the price paid in full to Smooja.com
- As each print is printed on demand, we don't offer any refund for changes of mind.

What on earth is a seed?
On most of our artwork at Smooja, you will notice a seed number. If you are wondering what this is you can find out by clicking here.
I like to use PayPal for my online purchases, why don't you offer this?
- We don't offer PayPal as a payment method as the fees are too high, this would mean that we would have to increase our product prices. We don't want to do this, as we know how hard you have worked for your money and how hard we work to bring you excellent products.
I live outside of NZ, why don't you supply cushion inserts for my order?
- We don't send cushion inserts overseas as the freight costs are astronomical and not in your best interests. It is recommended to source your inserts from a local shop. A guide to the sizes required are to purchase an insert that is 5cm/50mm larger than the cover. This makes sure you have a lovely plump finish.
